See Something - Do Something Mission

The intent of the SeeSomething-DoSomething campaign is to train people to be prepared and able to protect themselves should they ever find themselves in a threatening situation involving violent individuals.

The catalyst for the "See Something - Do Something" campaign was the news of three American off duty servicemen on a train from Amsterdam to Paris overpowering a heavily armed gunman on August 21st, 2015. "By their courage, they saved lives," French President François Hollande said, "They gave us an example of what is possible to do in these kinds of situations."

"While no sane person would wish to be in a situation like the one that three Americans found themselves in", said Davide Gristina, Krav Maga NY's Chief Instructor, "the reality is that in today's world, these kind of events are sadly more common than we would want them to be. We seek to empower our community.
